About the Author

Melissa Lea Leedom is a native of New Orleans, and has also lived in Florida, Virginia, Alabama, and Maryland. She holds degrees in English and Professional Writing from Troy State University at Dothan, Alabama, and Towson University in Maryland.

Ms. Leedom was single-again for over five years and was a member of Single Adult Sunday School classes in New Orleans and the Metro-D.C. area. She is a member of American Christian Fiction Writers and the San Gabriel Writers' League. A part-time developmental math instructor at Central Texas College in Killeen, Ms. Leedom lives in a suburb of Austin with her husband, two sons, a parrot and a parakeet.
